Adding To The Chaos

We'd been talking about possibly getting a couple of ducklings, but they had to be ducklings so they would grow with the kids and socialise with them in the garden. I researched various breeds of ducks and Aylesbury ducks came back with good reviews for our needs. We found a farm not too far from us selling 2 week old Aylesbury ducklings and after seeing the little things had to come home right there and then with 2 of the most delightful little things. The ducks are living with us indoors just now until they are a little bigger and can move out into their house in the garden (the house that is still to be built by hubby).

It's now Monday and we have had these ducks living indoors with us now for almost a week and boy do the stink!!! They are living in the kitchen in an old dog pen for now. We had a couple of super hot days so had the ducks out in the garden through the day.

I'm hoping these stinkers are little girls as I would like to get some eggs for breakfast from time to time. We have named them Jemima Puddleduck and Daisy duck (so they had better be girls)!

Introduction

Just so you know who & what I'm talking about I thought I'd add some images......it helps build the picture :o)

Here is a pic of my eldest daughter Jessie, she is currently 12 yrs old & very beautiful, I don't just say that because I'm her mum, I truly do think she is beautiful.

Here is a pic of Grace, she is 4yrs old & such a lovely girl, she is very loving & gets picked on a lot by her younger sister Boo.

Here's 2 yr old Boo with a face full of chocolate.......now this little girl is full of bedevilment.

This is Chris (hubby & soulmate) rarely do I get a photo of him but he either didn't mind that day or he was unaware.

This is Floyd, my boy, he is such a sweet natured dog, he is just over 1 yr old.

This is Oscar (Ozzy) he has to be the laziest dog I have ever known, he's huge & still growing (as is Floyd). Ozzy is also 1yr old.

There is also little Mo the kids Shih Tzu, I will get a pic of him one day, he moves far quicker than the big guys.

So that's it.......that's my family.
